What factors affect the accuracy of the vacuole tube of the Torpedo Spirit Level?

The Torpedo Spirit Level is widely used in construction, decoration, and woodworking due to its portability and efficient level measurement function. Its core component, the vacuole tube, determines the measurement accuracy of the tool. The accuracy of the vacuole tube is related to the accuracy of the measurement results, and also directly affects the construction quality and safety.

1. Liquid properties
The liquid inside the vacuole tube is one of the key factors affecting its accuracy. Commonly used liquids include water, alcohols, or other special liquids. These liquids should have the following characteristics.
Low viscosity: The fluidity of the liquid directly affects the movement speed of the bubble. Low-viscosity liquids can quickly respond to tilt changes and improve the sensitivity of the measurement.
Stability: The physical properties of the liquid should remain consistent at different temperatures to prevent expansion or contraction caused by temperature changes, which will affect the measurement results.

2. Processing accuracy of the glass tube
The glass part of the vacuole tube needs to be processed with high precision to ensure that the inner wall is smooth and uniform. Any flaws or unevenness will affect the movement trajectory of the bubble, resulting in measurement errors. High-quality vacuole tubes are usually subject to strict quality control to ensure their stability and accuracy in use.

3. Design and position of vacuole
The design of the vacuole tube also affects its accuracy. The size and position of the vacuole should be precisely calculated to ensure that the bubble can move quickly and accurately in both horizontal and vertical states.
Bubble size: bubbles that are too small may make it difficult to observe, while bubbles that are too large may affect sensitivity. The ideal bubble size should ensure visibility while maintaining sufficient reaction sensitivity.
Installation angle: The angle of the vacuole tube during installation should also be kept horizontal to ensure that the bubble can move freely in the liquid. If the vacuole tube itself is tilted, it will directly lead to inaccurate measurement results.

4. External environmental factors
The accuracy of the vacuole tube is also affected by the external environment, including the following environmental factors.
Temperature changes: drastic changes in temperature may cause the liquid to expand and contract, which in turn affects the position of the bubble. To ensure accuracy, the vacuole tube should be used in an environment with small temperature changes.
Humidity: High humidity environments may cause condensation on the external surface of the vacuole tube, affecting observation. A dry environment helps to maintain the clarity of the measurement.

5. Mechanical shock and vibration
In actual use, the liquid bubble tube may be subjected to mechanical shock and vibration, which will affect the stability of the bubble and cause measurement errors. When using the Torpedo Spirit Level, users should try to avoid placing it in a working environment with large vibrations.
